For a great week of ministry in La Paz, Bolivia with 47 college and young adults. For God’s care in keeping us safe and healthy in spite of spending the week at 11,000ft  and very cold temperatures. For the privilege of baptizing Stu, one of the members of the AFG I teach when I am home. He came to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ last October. Prayer:

For the men and women who were in our seminar in Bolivia. They were so attentive and have such potential. Pray that they will never lose their passion for world missions. For our ministry in Lima, Peru, March 15-22 For Envoy board meeting, March 29.

For the opportunity God gave us to meet with some of the key pastors and mission leaders in Asuncion, which is the capital of Paraguay. For the openness, understanding and interest the leaders showed as they expressed the desire to have Envoy help them in mobilizing their churches for world missions. For safety and good health throughout our time in Paraguay where the temperatures were close to 100 degrees. Prayer:

That the pastors and church leaders in Paraguay will catch the passion of God’s heart for world missions. That the team in Paraguay will not be discouraged but will be used of God to build a good foundation for an effective world missions ministry. For Wisdom as we attempt to schedule the requests for ministry that we are receiving for 2010.

For the opportunity of sharing in the World Missions Celebration at Woodside Bible. For the time we will have to share with the leaders in the Eternal Rock church in Irapuato, Mexico, October 27, 28. For the privilege of teaching on world missions to the students in the Bible institute in a suburb of Mexico City, October 29 – November 2. Prayer:

That God will use our presentation  at Woodside, entitled “A Look At What God Is Doing Around The World”, to encourage the hearts of His people. For our upcoming ministry in Paraguay November 16-23. For Wisdom as we continue to put together our schedule for 2010.

For the good annual Envoy board meeting in Atlanta For the commitment and faithfulness of our board members For safety in all of our travels Prayer:

For wisdom as we attempt to develop an additional program that will enable us to work more closely with pastors who are committed to seeing world missions implemented in their churches For our directors as they seek to schedule each of the upcoming meetings.

For the opportunity Mary and I had of sharing in the pastors retreat sponsored by Woodside Bible Church.. For the additional finances that God has raised up for our South American Director, Wick Jackson. This has been a great encouragement and will enable him to have an even greater ministry this year. For the new contacts God is giving us for ministry in 2009. Prayer:

For for our Central American Director, Ismael Miranda’s mother (Cecila) who is recovering from the removal of one of her kidneys. For wisdom as we seek to reschedule our February ministries to later in the year so Ismael can help in caring for his mother during the time of recuperation. For wisdom as I use this month to work on a book on world missions and the local church that will be of a help to our national pastors.
